Tulsa-Based Auctioneers Succeeds in Tough Economy
January 07, 2010: National Commercial Auctioneers, LLC (NCA) is celebrating its first year in business this January as the successful commercial real estate and land auction company continues to prosper during these difficult economic times.
"It was a life-long dream to establish a commercial real estate auction company that can implement auctions the way I think they should be done," comments Stephen Karbelk, CAI, AARE, President and Founder. "It has been 18 years in the making, and I finally have been able to solve our clients problems with an auction service focused on high detail, high quality service, and, most importantly, excellent results."
In their first year in business, National Commercial Auctioneers has been able to accomplish what takes most auction companies years to achieve, including:
- Establishing a National Tulsa Marketing Office with a marketing staff lead by John Pellow, a marketing executive with 20 years of corporate, retail and brand management experience.
- Expanding a national sales footprint by hiring Regional Vice President's in the local markets the company services, including Florida, the Carolina's, the Mid-Atlantic, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri.
- Recruiting top-level talent to service their clients at the local, regional and national level. The entire senior level of Regional Vice Presidents are Brokers and Auctioneers.
- Creating a credible brand that focuses on the needs and solutions of it's clients within the commercial real estate and land community.

In its first year in business, National Commercial Auctioneers has been able to achieve some very significant auctions, including a $5.8 million foreclosure auction of a 144-unit multi-family property in Lexington, NC; a $1.7 million sale of 715 acres and equipment for the US Bankruptcy Court; a $2.2 million auction of a 124-room hotel in Stuart, FL for a national CMBS Special Servicer; a $3.2 million auction of a 101-room former Fairfield Inn in Williamston, NC for a regional community bank; a $2.1 million auction of a 208 unit multi-family complex in Tulsa, OK for a receiver, as well as other auctions in Texas, Minnesota, Ohio, Florida, Virginia, Indiana, Maryland and Arkansas.

The auction staff is supported by Stephanie Butler, Auction Services Coordinator, a paralegal with 12 years experience. "I have never worked with such an exceptional sales team," comments Stephanie. "And it seems like we just keep getting better with every new person that joins our veteran auction sales staff. I can't wait to see what 2010 brings for us."
Additional sales staff is expected to be added in the first quarter of 2010 along with marketing and operations staff in the Tulsa Marketing Office. The leases have a low production history but they have real upside potential for an operator. National Commercial Auctioneers was proud to have been selected to market and conduct this complex auction after the Seller solicited proposals from multiple auction companies. The auction date is February 4, 2010 at the US Bankruptcy Court in Okmulgee, OK.
